She is 5 years old and is such a loveable little girl. My wonderful husband is Jim and we have been married for 6 years. Karly is our special little girl.
Ellie has a rare genetic syndrome called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. This is the result of a genetic error on chromosome 4. It is estimated to occur in 1 in 50,000 births. Ellie also has right eye anophthalmia, which means she was born without her right eye. Ellies life has its ups and downs, but she continually amazes us and makes us smile. School coming to and end and summer beginning has had me in a whirlwind of work, appointments, vacation and just plain fun. And yes, we vacationed over the 4th of July and Im just getting the pics up. Things are generally pretty busy around here, especially the summer months. Im actually welcoming fall and winter. Both for the temperatures and the down time. This summer we spent a lot of time in the pool because it was so HOT! This was Haley on July 4th hanging out by the dock. The hat.CONTENT
