Ellie has a rare genetic syndrome called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. This is the result of a genetic error on chromosome 4. It is estimated to occur in 1 in 50,000 births. Ellie also has right eye anophthalmia, which means she was born without her right eye. Ellies life has its ups and downs, but she continually amazes us and makes us smile. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. It was so much fun showing Evan pictures of his baby sister. I loved seeing Kylie moving all around. She liked to have her feet up by her head just like her brother did. Even after kids we were lucky enough to take JD and Connor to a game and meet, then Cub David DeJesus, during warm-ups. School coming to and end and summer beginning has had me in a whirlwind of work, appointments, vacation and just plain fun.
