Trip to Paris - 25th to 27th February, 2005. Monday, April 10, 2006. I went to Denmark in June 2004 but it was a while till I made my first trip to another European country from Denmark. The history, culture and the aura of the place made a lasting impression.
Paris - 25th February, 2005. Tuesday, April 11, 2006. The Western facade of the Notre Dame Cathedral. We started our tour of Paris from here, as it is in a very central location. Stained Glass windows inside the Notre Dame Cathedral. View from the top of the Notre Dame Cathedral. The Glass Pyramid forms the entrance to the Louvre Museum.

Saturday, September 17, 2005. Our journey on the Flamsbana starts of the station of Myrdal. Myrdal is at an altitude of 867 metres and the train descends to an altitude of only 21 metres at Flam. The line has a gradient of 1 in 18, making it one of the steepest normal guage railways in Europe. The Reinungavatnet Lake is the source of many waterfalls and small streams in this region.
