Trip to Paris - 25th to 27th February, 2005. Monday, April 10, 2006. I went to Denmark in June 2004 but it was a while till I made my first trip to another European country from Denmark. The history, culture and the aura of the place made a lasting impression.
Paris - 26th February, 2005. Wednesday, April 12, 2006. We met this old lady with her dog in the narrow cobbled streets leading up to Montmarte Hill. Montmarte is a charming place - teeming with artists and art lovers.
Paris - 27th February, 2005. Thursday, April 13, 2006. Statue of Napoleon Bonaparte outside the Palace. The Main Hall inside the Versaille Palace. A fresco in the ceiling of the Mars Drawing Room.
Paris - Eiffel Tower - many angles, many views. Thursday, April 13, 2006. The Eiffel Tower at night. Looking straight up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Looking up to the first level of the Eiffel Tower from its base. The Eiffel Tower is lit up by glittering lights in the evenings - every hour, on the hour for 5 minutes.

Saturday, September 17, 2005. Our journey on the Flamsbana starts of the station of Myrdal. Myrdal is at an altitude of 867 metres and the train descends to an altitude of only 21 metres at Flam. The line has a gradient of 1 in 18, making it one of the steepest normal guage railways in Europe. The Reinungavatnet Lake is the source of many waterfalls and small streams in this region.
As some of you know, on sunday afternoon I turned in my very last paper of the semester.
