Thursday, August 28, 2008. This may look haphazard at first glance, but it is actually quite elegant. This schedule gives me four five-hour sections of time each day. Each block is exactly five hours long. These are the target times. Inevitably, unexpected events arise that make it impossible to follow these times exactly. Fortunately, the impact of napping not at precisely the correct time is less severe with Everyman Sleep than with Uberman Sleep.
Monday, July 14, 2008. I felt reasonably energized and rested throughout the day. I have read numerous accounts of how difficult it has been for some people to transition to Polyphasic Sleeping. Some have tried to avoid exercise for the first week or so. Despite this caveat, the weather today was so nice that I just had to work out. I was curious to see how my body would respond. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Today is Wednesday July 23, which means that I have been on either the Dymaxion Sleep Schedule or the Unberman Schedule since Saturday the 12.
Monday, July 14, 2008. Today has been far and away the best day that I have had in the polyphasic transition period. I made it to my three naps with ease, and I plan to take my fourth nap in about half an hour. Other than this expected lull, I was very energetic and mentally active for the entire day.
