Oaxaca Wa-Ha-Ka

Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Ive been home since Saturday evening. I thought it would be appropriate to do a summary of my last week in Oaxaca. The volunteers left Oaxaca last Saturday for Mexico City. On Sunday morning, they left for Houston! It was sad to see them leave on Saturday. It felt I had just been pulling there bags out from the bottom of the bus. The time went by very fast. When we got to the highway, we stopped and bought two large 925 mL 40 oz? When we got back, even though I did not ask,.

Cassie en Ixtlan

Saturday, August 05, 2006. Childhood living is easy to do. The things you wanted I bought them for you. Graceless lady, you know who I am,. I watched you suffer a dull, aching pain. Now you decided to show me the same. No sweeping exits or offstage lines,. Can make me feel bitter or treat you unkind.

Lina en Oaxaca

Monday, August 07, 2006. The first and maybe last episode of AMIGOS in Santiago Suchilquitongo is coming to a close. We have been wrapping up our CBI in various ways that have brought sadness but also joy. New mirrors and a stereo have been installed for the dance class and a table is getting transfered for the sewing class tomorrow. I have finished my website on local foods. And already have two comments! And am hoping to finish the traditional dance. Sunday, July 30, 2006.

Maya in Oaxaca

Wednesday, August 09, 2006. Our last few days in community. So we leave tomorrow which is kind of a weird thought. I think I will miss my host family and town a lot. And the views, like this one. But there are a lot of exciting things to go home to also. It was sad to say bye to them. Saturday, August 05, 2006. Events from the past week, not in order. Here we are with the kids from our technology class; we just had our last class yesterday.

winnsangels believe and you may see miracles happening all about you

Believe and you may see miracles happening all about you. When the art continues to flow. When I was a girl I would look out my bedroom window at the caterpillars; I envied them so much. No matter what they were before, no matter what happened to them, they could just hide away and turn into these beautiful creatures that could fly away completely untouched. The light in your soul is far greater than the darkness. Hope is the thing with feathers.
