Monday, August 07, 2006. The first and maybe last episode of AMIGOS in Santiago Suchilquitongo is coming to a close. We have been wrapping up our CBI in various ways that have brought sadness but also joy. New mirrors and a stereo have been installed for the dance class and a table is getting transfered for the sewing class tomorrow. I have finished my website on local foods. And already have two comments! And am hoping to finish the traditional dance. Sunday, July 30, 2006.
Monday, July 10, 2006. i was gonna attempt to keep this blog all in Spanish, but that in addition to the daily speaking of the language will make my brain melt, so im gonna keep this in English! Wednesday, August 23, 2006. I thought it would be appropriate to do a summary of my last week in Oaxaca. The volunteers left Oaxaca last Saturday for Mexico City. On Sunday morning, they left for Houston! It was sad to see them leave on Saturday. It felt I had just been pulling there bags out from the bottom of the bus. The time went by very fast.
