Daily walks on the beach, a bush garden and a little bit of stitching. Monday, September 16, 2013. I traced an outline of my face from a photo and then went crazy with fabric choices! It was a lot of fun! I took heaps of photos. They truly are a magnificent animal.

Sunday, July 19, 2015. I tried a flange binding and it turned out beautifully. I will be using this machine binding on most of my quilts from now on. Started my 2015 Leader and Ender Challenge. I also finished lesson 9 of my Aim for Accuracy II. Blocks being joined in lesson 9.
Saturday, November 15, 2008. I have started a blog for 2009. I am asking anyone who would like to join me in an effort to help stamp out cancer to go check out Stitching for A Cure. We are going to be stitching Christmas ornaments for a decorated tree that will be auctioned off and money donated to American Cancer Society.

Thursday, August 14, 2014. So busy that I neglected to post a pic of my latest finish. After finishing American Pride for our anniversary, I went back to my Janet Carsels. I really have a thing for Scottish samplers. I love the illuminated alphabets and the fact that they usually are full of bold reds and greens is also an attractive feature for me.
