Well more than a while really - just shy of a year since my last post. I always set out with good intentions which swiftly fall by the wayside . but since my fellow Mods on Friendly Stitchers. I have been stitching and have even have some finishes! You never know you might even see a couple of knitted finishes on here too at some point.
I take pictures of beautiful things. Monday, August 8, 2016. Mountain Majesties Bargello Inspired Quilt. The finished size is 75 X 88 inches but it can be made any size by adding or subtracting fabric. Press the Bargello rows towards the top and towards the bottom of quilt.
Monday, August 8, 2011. What a summer it has been! An early vacation was a perfect plan because I doubt we would have been able to take it later. I have to resist the urge to lay down on the sun porch and just listen to the summer sounds and doze off, maybe with a kitty on my tummy.

Passion Sampler and a new project. These are block 13 and block 15. For my birthday, yesterday, Anne Marieke. Gave me this lovely addition to my reproduction fabrics for the Passion Sampler! Next block I am going to use the blue striped fabric. She is making the Passion Sampler also, so we are doing a SAL together.
A Photo Blog of David Trower. I know that everyone that reads my blog is aware that I got married at the beginning of August and that my wife and I were going to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time in Hawaii. We spent 9 glorious days and 8 wonderful nights on the Hawaiian islands experience the sights, sounds, food, and culture of Hawaii on the islands of Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

We are going to be stitching Christmas ornaments for a decorated tree that will be auctioned off and money donated to American Cancer Society.

I really have a thing for Scottish samplers. I love the illuminated alphabets and the fact that they usually are full of bold reds and greens is also an attractive feature for me.
