Hi Guys just a quick post today, im am going to be starting the blog back i will start posting again in September but at the moment i will be keeping you entertained with trip reports stating, with Mallorca 2015 on Wednesday.
The last couple of weeks. Since the delights of the Bee-eaters at Theberton, there have still been some really successful trips in the last few weeks. The next bird to go on the list was Nuthatch, where we had tried 3 times for this elusive bird in Shrubland Wood this year and failed. Well, on July 23rd, we finally saw one, calling and moving around the wood with a tit flock.
Hi, I am a young 15 year old naturalist who specializes in birds. I travel to my favourite hotspots for birdwatching. St Just in southwest cornwall and the Exe estuary being my most exciting locations. I have recently started ringing and do it in Swindon normally, I am a trainee. Tuesday, 4 August 2015. Sunday, 28 June 2015. Again, not a birdwatching trip as such, but plenty of wonderful birds there, and in one of the most beautiful settings you can imagine.
Monday, 29 August 2016. Friday morning dawned bright and breezy and a stroll up to Porth Hellick provided nice views of a selection of waders on the Higher Moors. The pick of the bunch were 2 stunning Wood Sandpipers. A trek up to the Garrison in the afternoon was made worthwhile by a fairly obliging Icterine Warbler. Had me running and clambering like a man on a mission to the back of the boat.

Friday, 7 August 2015. Mega Flock of Little Terns plus Plenty of Waders at Oare. Mega flock of Little Terns. I paid an evening visit to Oare Marshes yesterday the 6th August in the hope of seeing the large number of Little Terns. That had been reported and wow what a sight it was to , the most i can ever recall seeing in a single flock , the agreed amount was 220 birds roosting on the East Flood , every so often they were spooked by a juvenile gull and took to the air giving a tremendous spectacle. Monday, February 9, 2015. Found these pics of the grandsons playing on the fire equipment at the American Fork Fire Station. The guys and gals at the station were really good with them and we had a good time. They were kinda shy at first but they warmed up and had fun. Dad gave me some roots of his Hibiscus. In all this time mission has remained important to me, but. in the last 10 years or so mission. or more specifically evangelism has been a tougher topic to work through. The traditional ways to engage people with the Christian message have become difficult to work with, and I have to say that I have struggled to know what to do with evangelism.
