What wonderful support from the parents and students at NCS! I apologize for the late postings. Made weavings on a cardboard loom. They worked on this project for 3 weeks. Students learned how to put the warp thread on the loom, weave it, than take it.

Tuesday, January 10, 2017. I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday break and enjoyed the snow. Fifth graders will be working with protractors this week and how they relate to angles. We will concentrate on the basics for the first class than begin creating Mandalas using radial symmetry-symmetry around a central axis, as in a starfish or a tulip flower. We will be talking about persuasion and tying that in with the groundhog.
