Sunday, February 5, 2012. Miss Millie gets her ears pierced. Then Bonnie placed the little purple dots on her ears and after a few minor adjustments we were ready to have her ears pierced. The first ear was pierced and there was just a little flinch made by Miss Millie. she is such a big girl. Then the second ear was done without even a flinch. My baby is growing up. Monday, August 10, 2015. We rode the shinkanzen 45 minutes out of our way to see this newly restored castle in Himeji. It was a great choice! It is the largest castle in Japan. We ate the most delicious breakfast of pastries on the train and then walked out to the castle before it even opened. It was bright white and up on a huge hill. We took a quick trip to the gardens next door which were beautiful, but not much in comparison to Kyoto.

Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Trip to Grenada Jan 29-Feb. To get Melinda warmed up before she goes off on her mission to Ukraine, we flew to Grenada in the West Indies. Shane and Kim were gracious to host us for a week. First thing we did was to go swimming at Magazine Beach. It was warm and beautiful. Fish Friday with the Steel Drum Band. We went to a smaller falls and slid down the rock into a large pool below. Jeremy loves his cars! .

I had to get on his shoulders by standing with my legs apart while he put his head basically in my crotch to lift me up. We had a bunch of laughs, and were friends ever since. We started dating on September 14th, 2003. He proposed on September 13th, 2008 and we got married on September 12th, 2009! It has been like a dream come true.
