Sunday, March 26, 2017. Life is moving along quickly. Danny was released from the bishopbric after serving as the 2nd counselor for over 5 years. It was a wonderful experience for him and he was a little sad to be done. Bishop Drysdale has taught him so many valuable things and they all enjoyed all serving together. He is excited to be in YM with Taylor! We had a great night with them. An oldie but goodie! .

Monday, August 10, 2015. Japan Day 56 Himeji and Takayama. We rode the shinkanzen 45 minutes out of our way to see this newly restored castle in Himeji. It was a great choice! It is the largest castle in Japan. We ate the most delicious breakfast of pastries on the train and then walked out to the castle before it even opened. It was bright white and up on a huge hill. A magnificent sight. We took a quick trip to the gardens next door which were beautiful, but not much in comparison to Kyoto. When we ar.CONTENT

Thursday, June 18, 2015. When we took Henry to the hospital during his finger incident I got the distinct impression that we would be back there with him again. He was going to be that kind of kid.
