On the 3rd of March we went on a marae stay, Discovery went on a waka experience at the lake front, when we got there we had to split into two groups. Before we could hop in the waka we had to put on a life jacket and get a paddle and learn paddle moves and when we completed we got to go on the waka. When we started we hit the wall, then we got of the wall we took. Then at the end we had a race back to shore, and we won of course.
At the marae we could play what ever we wonted to play like hand ball. cricket and Dodge ball and in hand ball I got some people out and I could only get to queen but I only got to king a couple of times and it was harder and harder to get king out. We all had a lot of fun on the Waka and I had a race on the water and the other people on the other Waka won the race to get back to the surface.
On the second day of Marae we went on a waka we did not go first so we waited at the lakefront park Joe went into the girls toilet it was so funny then it was our turn we had to learn lots of different paddle moves the we had a waka race we won of course. There was an error in this gadget. This is my Waka experince at the Tunohopu Marae.
About 2 or 3 weeks ago Kaitao went to the Aquatics for our annual swimming day.

The theme of our stage challenge act was school the values and kaitao danced to show it. This term did speeches my one was on Time. For the year sevens accelerate came first second and third and for the year eights accelerate came first second and third.
