SMU Fitnessworks Club was established in year 2001 with the goal to engage the SMU community in adopting a healthier lifestyle, and to bring together individuals who have a passion for fitness-enhancing activities. To be the one-stop fitness resource center in SMU.
A combination of athletic moves, incorporated with jumps, hops and floor aerobics. Exercise to motivating and exciting music that is easy to follow and maximizes your calories burning potential. Good for those who are looking for something challenging but within the realms of possibility! A class packed with fun and frolics. All levels are welcome! .
Friday, January 2, 2009. A cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance styles and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat. Move with attitude, grab a friend, get front and centre and get high on the feeling of dance.
A fusion of Hip Hop, Funk, Jazz, and Latin dances incorporated in a full Cardio workout. Participants will get an intense workout while building a routine to music. Be prepared to dance, step and swing your way to a great workout. Almost too fun to be called exercising! .

Trichallenge is the largest event of Fitnessworks held annually. This year, TriChallenge 2008 was at SMU Admin Building. This stage requires participants to compete on the spinning bike.

Ancient science combining traditional postures, breathing, stretching, relaxation and meditation for physical, mental and spiritual awareness and well-being. Expect a good and rejuvenating workout of poses and stretches, combined with coordinated breathing techniques to bring balance and focus to mind and body A great de-stressing class, especially when those project deadlines are coming up! .
