Bushabout - Oct 05 - Charters Towers to Weipa. Monday, November 14, 2005. Charters Tower to Weipa - Oct. On the road to Weipa. Figured we would spend more time in Weipa as we are driving so far anyway. A long day, Charters Towers to Eight Mile Creek on the Gregory Road 304. Saturday, February 23, 2008. Mt Isa, NT Border and Katherine Music Muster. Heading further north to Mt Isa, but all roads closed north of Cloncurry, so we are heading to the Katherine Music Muster. After 6 weeks of the Tinnie on the roof rack, we get to launch and check it all out on Lake Moondarra - actually the Dam water for Mt Isa.
Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Bushabout - Yorke Peninsular and Cadell - River Land S. Departing Geues mid morning heading for Yorke Peninsular and the River Land. 1hr 40 minutes from camp site to Eyre Hwy, again no tree pruning required. Pulled into the old Yalata servo to top up the drinking water from the rain water tanks and inflate tires.

My brother Neil did some last minute repairs to a bent chine bar, which finally failed after being dragged thru bog holes, creek beds and over sand ridges. Sunday, September 21, 2008. 08 - Fortescue River Mouth. Back to the coast after Karajini National Park. Magic spot and only one other camper here. The first week was good fishing then the moon and tide cycles changed. Wahsed down by flood water from up near the Fortescue River Road House.
Wednesday, January 13, 2010. After our Oyster farm tour, restock supplies, repaired the water pump on the outboard and ready to check out the local fishing! Ready to set up the annexe, full camp set up takes about an 1 hour! No water to beach launch our tinnie. Every one gets nervous when they see smoke like this!
