After 6 weeks of the Tinnie on the roof rack, we get to launch and check it all out on Lake Moondarra - actually the Dam water for Mt Isa. Sue gets some driving lessons.CONTENT

Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Bushabout - Yorke Peninsular and Cadell - River Land S. Departing Geues mid morning heading for Yorke Peninsular and the River Land. 1hr 40 minutes from camp site to Eyre Hwy, again no tree pruning required. Pulled into the old Yalata servo to top up the drinking water from the rain water tanks and inflate tires.

Ayers Rock was named in 1873 by explorer William Gosse after the then Premier of S. Visitors are discouraged from climbing the 348 mtr high monolith, an alternative is the 10km base walk, we did both.
