Wednesday, September 21, 2011. I am going to miss having a trainer to meet with a couple of times a week. That has really helped me to get my but out of bed in the morning. My wife likes to run, so maybe this is something we could start doing together. In the past I have always had a bad attitude about running. These last few months have changed my perspective. I could continue all day about how good I feel. I hope that I can keep up this attitude. Tuesday, September 13, 2011.
Friday, July 1, 2011. Another day, another workout! I struggled today in my workout this morning, but Alex was conscientious of my abilities. It is a great thing to have the support of someone that knows what you can do, and pushes you to go beyond what you think your limits are. I am doing so much better, I can feel it now. I have been so out of tune with my body, mainly ignoring it. I appreciate the nutrition class this last week, Mindy helped me to understand the food labels much better.
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Time to jump on board. I was very excited to receive the phone call saying I had been chosen to participate in the 100 day challenge. It was exactly what I needed! We started almost two weeks ago, they took our measurements, weight, cholesterol, blood sugar levels and blood pressure. All I can say is WOW! .

Tuesday, September 27, 2011. All I can say is WOW! Well my 100-Day Heart Challenge is now in the history books. I can not be happier with the results! I ended up sharing the 1st place honors with Cathi Penrod. I can not believe that I had improvements to land me in this position. Total Cholesterol was 187 now 121. Folks I have never seen my total cholesterol this low! HDL was 36 now 39. I wish this was higher, but at least it has improved. To JD, thanks for.
