The website for the NEAFCS award-winning TV series Anitas A2Z Fruits and Vegetables thats all about basic selection, preparation, storage, and serving fruits and vegetables. Drain 1 can of whole or halved, peeled apricots. Dice into the liquid mixture. Add apricots, cover, and chill. Serve plain, with a mint leaf. Or top with small scoop of lemon sherbert or vanilla ice cream. Could also sit in a bed of lettuce. Wash with water with no soap just before using. Remove the skin, if desired. Eat directly out of the bag. Apricots are fragile; hand.

2 or 3 canned chipotle chiles en adobo to taste, removed from the canning sauce, stemmed, slit open, seeds scraped out and finely chopped. 1 or 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice.
Banana and Peanut Butter Sandwich. 2 slices of whole grain bread. 1 banana, peeled and sliced thinly. On one piece of bread, cover in slices of banana. On the other piece of bread, cover in peanut butter. Put the 2 pieces of bread together. Can slice into 2 or 4 pieces.
