Thursday, May 21, 2015. High School Art 1- 1pt Mixed Media Collage. Students will create a work using 1pt perspective. Students will create a interesting composition. Students will work with collage. Students will focus on emphasis in their art piece. Students will work with recycled materials. They were then able to work on completing an interesting background, using pieces cut out or ripped from magazines. The two pieces were then combined to create an interesting composition.

Zetta made a wooden boat sculpture, watched others paint, different styles of dancing and music being preformed. Then we even got to see Cade and Tyson from Park preform their hip-hop dance on Rosa Park Circle Stage. Tints and shades with 3rd grade. I found this picture on my phone and thought I would share it. I like art because if you make a mistake, it makes it unique. Art is a time where you can relax and there is no such thing as a wrong answer. Who said assessments have to be boring! Happy Star Wars day! .
Monday, June 1, 2015. 8th grade classes worked on a landscape this trimester. Students looked at Impressionist artworks to get ideas for their own Landscape choice. Each student practiced using a variety of media. Students then made a choice based which they liked, and applied it to their final drawing. Check out these final landscapes.
