Sunday, June 7, 2015. Fun At GR Art Festival. We had fun At GR Art Festival yesterday! Zetta made a wooden boat sculpture, watched others paint, different styles of dancing and music being preformed. Then we even got to see Cade and Tyson from Park preform their hip-hop dance on Rosa Park Circle Stage. Following that we got to see Foster at the Grand Rapids Art Museum and a former student of mine with their art and Families. What at treat! Links to this post.
Monday, June 1, 2015. 8th grade classes worked on a landscape this trimester. Students looked at Impressionist artworks to get ideas for their own Landscape choice. Each student practiced using a variety of media. Students then made a choice based which they liked, and applied it to their final drawing. Check out these final landscapes.
