Thursday, 1 April 2010. Old friend, new locale. This has been the month of visitors, here in DC. Not just because of the Cherry Blossom festival which brings hundreds of thousands of people into the city, but because several of my friends and family members have come to visit us in the last few weeks! Saturday, September 11, 2010. And Just like that A Life Begins. It was three days before the summer solstice and I was still 3 cm dilated. 8 pm mild contractions, no baby.
Tuesday, April 29, 2008. We decide she may be able to wait a while but her daughters will likely know that something is wrong. After lunch another cancer, this one new. Too many nice people, young people. Non smokers, good helpful people. It challenges me to keep any optimism that there is something or someone watching out for us when these people are in pain who certainly did nothing to deserve it.
