Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Broadwing Hawk up in Temagami. Whatever he was going for he missed but it was cool to watch. Red Fox release 7 of them for Shades of Hope Wildlife Rescue 2017. 7 lined up and ready to go. The foxes were orphaned at a very early age. Thanks to Shades of Hope they did amazing. They were then sent off to Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre to build up some muscle strength. The foxes were released in a safe place very close to where found. Ginny rescued 5 of the fox.
Sunday, August 18, 2013. Hunting female August 17, 2013. Over the past week I have seen the Adult female Cooper Hawk hunting pigeons at my house. She has successfully taken two right out of the front yard. Amazing to watch her hunt. I have not seen the juveniles for some time. Monday, August 5, 2013. Cooper Hawk Juveniles flying and calling August 5, 2013. Friday, August 2, 2013. Juvenile female with food July 22, 2013.

Merlin release for Toronto Willdlife Centre April 2015. A great adventure with Anne Kramer to release a merlin for Toronto Wildlife Centre. We went to escarpment to let him go. The merlin was so ready. Out of the box talons first. Then in a flash he was up in the air. Terrific shots by Anne Kramer. Barbara Reid joined me on.CONTENT
