Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk at Wexford August 18, 2013. On my way home from TWC I stopped to see if the Red-tails were around. I have not seen them for a few weeks. I was really pleased to see the one juvenile really just hanging around. Check out the leg dangling down lol. The Red-tailed Hawk family has succeed in having two eyas. Very hard to see them but I can hear them and see them flapping around high in the nest. Thursday, April 23, 2015. Red-tailed hawks on Nest for 7th year. Within a couple of weeks you will not be able to see the nest due to the leaves. Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Red tailed hawk yeas have arrived may 6, 2014. Usual 2 or 3 yeas each year. Both parents very nervous so only stayed a moment.
Sunday, August 18, 2013. Hunting female August 17, 2013. Over the past week I have seen the Adult female Cooper Hawk hunting pigeons at my house. She has successfully taken two right out of the front yard. Amazing to watch her hunt. I have not seen the juveniles for some time. Monday, August 5, 2013. It also said " Whatever he was going for he missed but it was cool to watch. Red Fox release 7 of them for Shades of Hope Wildlife Rescue 2017. 7 lined up and ready to go. The foxes were orphaned at a very early age. Thanks to Shades of Hope they did amazing. They were then sent off to Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre to build up some muscle strength.
