Tuesday, August 11, 2015. THE WALK WAS ATTENDED BY 10 MEMBERS, TWO GRANDCHILDREN AND OF COURSE THE GLORIOUS DAY WITH SUNSHINE. FROM THE HIGH GROUND LARGE CRANES WERE SEEN, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE THE GREY DOCKSIDE TYPES, THJERE WERE A LONG DISTANT AWAY. GROUND SIGHTINGS INCLUDED A FROG AND CONCLUDED A VERY PLEASANT MORNING ENJOYED BY ALL.
Thursday, 9 July 2015. St Boniface Church, Nursling -. C Church dedicated to St Boniface, born in Crediton 680AD, missionary to Germany and martyr. He is associated with the Church at Nursling because it stands on the site of a monastery where he taught, and an earlier Saxon church.
