Thursday, 9 July 2015. St Boniface Church, Nursling -. C Church dedicated to St Boniface, born in Crediton 680AD, missionary to Germany and martyr. He is associated with the Church at Nursling because it stands on the site of a monastery where he taught, and an earlier Saxon church. It is said that no other Englishman had a greater influence on the history of Europe. This beautiful church is very interesting and well worth a visit.
