Thursday, December 16, 2010. For the last portion of the semester, I really enjoyed the different things we did outside of class and in class. For the advocacy project, we wrote our letters to the representatives and made a fact sheet for our topic.
Friday, December 17, 2010. Reflection weeks 13-14 and Overall Course. Touring the Good Will here in Duluth was a great learning activity. This really made me feel good about shopping at Good Will. I think we all had a lot of fun with our junking projects! Links to this post.

Friday, December 17, 2010. I cant believe that the semester is already behind us. I literally watched myself grow as a health educator over the course of this semester, and I have to say that this class contributed a huge part to that. Here is a recap of the past two weeks of this course as well as my overall reflection. And were given time to look for items for our upcoming junking projects. Friday, December 17, 2010. These past weeks have flown by and this class has continued keeping us busy. We were still able to cover a wide range of topics and continued expanding our knowledge of our surrounding environment. Outfit, a lovely Hawaiian shirt along with some puka shells. Gift, a unforgettable wine and candle basket.
Friday, December 17, 2010. The semester has gone by so fast! Even more so, our environmental health class. Meeting once a week makes me feel like we are only a third done with the class. We also finished our eco-chic lifestyle changes. For the most part, everyone was successful, especially in our blog group. The documentaries gave me that wow factor, they were.
Friday, December 17, 2010. I had no idea how big of a facility it actually was! I liked how Jamie and Lauren included physical activities that allowed us to actually get up and do the activities hands on. I learned how much CO2 my vehicle emits, about waste-to-energy, and more about renewable energy.

Friday, December 17, 2010. Reflection Weeks 13-14 Combined with Overall Course Reflection. So now I write our very last reflection for the semester. As always I will say it, Where has our time gone? 8221; Seriously tho, this semester flew by way too fast. I will briefly cover weeks 13 and 14 in this final reflection. What a steal huh? This was a really cool experience for me because it allowed me to be creative and turn a regular piece of junk into something that I would use. Its been a good run.CONTENT

Thursday, December 16, 2010. This is the last post to be done for the class. It seems very strange because I have been blogging so much for this class that it is normal for me to check my blog all the time. We had to do a blog post to our political representative about the bill we choose for the advocacy project. I thought it was very helpful to learn how to write a letter to a representative to advocate for something.
