Thursday, December 16, 2010. I really liked when we went to the Goodwill and learn about how the company operates. I think it was really cool that they help people with disabilities and let them work there. It was also really interesting to hear how much they recycle and what kind of different things they recycle. It was pretty neat to walk around and see how they sort all the different kinds of product. This is my junk project, money bank.

Thursday, December 16, 2010. For the last portion of the semester, I really enjoyed the different things we did outside of class and in class. For the advocacy project, we wrote our letters to the representatives and made a fact sheet for our topic.

Friday, December 17, 2010. Reflection weeks 13-14 and Overall Course. Touring the Good Will here in Duluth was a great learning activity. This really made me feel good about shopping at Good Will. I think we all had a lot of fun with our junking projects! Links to this post.

Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Well folks this is my last blog post. I have to admit I was not sure about blogging but after doing it I realized it was a lot of fun. Wrapped up our SMART goals.

Friday, December 17, 2010. I cant believe that the semester is already behind us. I literally watched myself grow as a health educator over the course of this semester, and I have to say that this class contributed a huge part to that.
