On Friday I attended my first session of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, or CBT as it is shortened to. In the meantime I continue to crochet, eat bourbons and buy large quantities of horlicks. Talk about putting a cramp in my side. I spent four days with the lovely RNs and PCTs of Virginia Mason. They provided wonderful nurturing care. And i was very fortunate to have my favorite friends and loved one visit me. It has been two years since.

Thursday, June 16, 2011. I went to a conference last week. It was three nights out of town, away from family, surrounded by colleagues. Many parts of the conference were great and it was good to get a few days away from the stress of my job. I do think I am doing better than in the winter. My joint pain has diminished and i am eating pretty much what I want. Saturday, June 4, 2011. I wish I could be happy. It can be so hard to feel the happiness here.
