Friday, August 17, 2012. How Do I Love Thee! The smell makes my mouth water. What is it that makes bacon so good? For this cupcake, I cooked about 6 slices and made them crispy. Once cooled, I chopped them up. I used a vanilla cake base, but it had real maple syrup in the batter. Oh My Goodness! I could have eaten the cupcakes all by themselves. The maple made the cake so moist and taste quite rich. Yum! They also smelled divinely. I used a piece of bacon and crumbled it on top of the cupcakes.

When you first get married, you and your spouse have all this time together, and you can be together any time you want. Then you have kids. Mom is tired at the end of the day, baby is up at all hours, finding time to be together gets a little harder. Then the kids get older, go to bed at 7 or 8, Mom and Dad can have some time together after the kids go to bed. This was a good stage. BECAUSE I SAID SO.CONTENT
