Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Liver Biopsy and Degenerative Disc Disease. Last Thursday I got a call from Mom. She was being sent to Strong Memorial Hospital to meet with a Dr Friday at 3pm. Seems her living functions have been going nowhere but up for some time. I left here at 7am Friday to drive up and meet my brother in Syracuse where I would take her the rest of the way. Mom had her biopsy and was released yesterday. I left here at 7am and made it up to the hospital by 11 .
Friday, May 22, 2015. The Twins are One! May 15, 2014. I will never forget that day. I spent that morning at Home Depot with Justin McIntosh picking out my fixtures for the new house. I rode around in the motor buggy due to my large belly and two swollen feet. I love that Maggie and I are like the pregnant book ends of the picture. Haha! Read about my whole birth story here. Read about their time in the NICU here.

Thursday, September 29, 2011. Day 10- Venice and then Home. We traveled all the night before from Dubrovnik back to Venice. We were scheduled to be picked up from the boat that morning and then headed to the Venice airport. Once we arrived at the airport, we still had several hours before our plane even boarded and so we had to just wait at the ticket gates and wait for them to open so we could get through security and to a comfortable place to sit! From Venice we had a few stops and a few layovers.
A journey into the lives of four amazing kids . We attended the early service at our church. What a blessing to belong to a wonderful church community with such a rich history in Charleston. The egg hunt was held in the oldest graveyard in the city. So many tourists visit this graveyard in the spring and yesterday the church yard was full of kids running around with baskets looking for eggs. Why have I not taken my kids there before? So easy and fun. He read two books .
