On Thursday Jo from Hawkes Bay Sport came and taught us how to jump correctly. 1 Eyes to the front. 4 Swing your arms and jump. Tuesday, 12 November 2013. We are learning how to be safe in the sun. Here we are making a bag. We then had to choose 6 things that we need to take to the beach. We cut them out and then we put them in the bag. We all chose a hat, sunscreen, t shirt, sunglasses and two other things. Saturday, 9 November 2013.

Sunday, 15 September 2013. This week we have started our new maths unit on Measurement. We started by comparing everyday objects in our class to see which was heavier. We had to learn to make sensible estimates. We were surprised by how heavy some things were compared to others. We recorded our estimates and results in our books. Today we celebrated Saint Mary MacKillop in a school mass. Every child came in muffti and brought a grocery item to give to St Vincents De Paul.
