Wednesday, January 19, 2011. To fill the gap I finished another easy quilt for one of my daughters - she picked all the fabrics and I have spent the last two weeks hand quilting it in perle cotton. Just need to finish the binding tomorrow. It is from a pattern by Hot Possum. I shouldnt have started this project on a day I wasnt feeling the best but I thought it would help spur me on to get something done. I started with the X-men symbol block because it was the simplest. I thought I knew what colors went where without looking at my notes and sewed on the wrong color. The bowl above was hand carved by a coworker. Have a great day! Shared at Sew Darn Crafty.
