Saturday, August 1, 2015. A couple weeks ago the kids and I spent 3 hours weeding the garden and flower beds. They were that bad! Especially the garden. We have only six corn cobs. I think the birds got to the seeds once we planted. Lots of tiny cucumbers to grow. And lots and lots of tomatoes to ripen.
Me and My Green Thumb. This year was gonna be the year that I finally planted a beautiful flower garden in front of my house. I spent over an hour in the hot sun at the nursery, trying to decide what to buy. I finally picked out the flowers I wanted and they coordinated with each other and with our house and most of them were perennials. I brought them home and Eliza took charge.
