Not much running since GC half.Straight after holiday, I devised a plan to lose a few kilos in the hope to improve my running. My weight ballooned to 71kg and I was feeling meh with my race performances. I decided to eat heathly. Changes made were. 13 of main meals out of 14 lunchdinner weekly are vegetari. Soy milk instead of cow milk. Week of 18-24 August. Sun, 6.30am. Tues, 6.30am.

As much as January was a great month in training , February was quite the opposite and the fact that i had run only 80kms in Feb until race day, coupled with the incessant travel since the first week of Feb meant that on race day, i was left questioning myself as to how best run the race and what should i adopt as a pacing strategy.
