The colours that I used were intentional, using the rainbow spectrum of mainly primary colours contrasts brilliantly against white. Rainbows are associated with fun, also the way that the paper is put together is fun with the use of spiral clouds. I felt that this poster not only met the briefs requirement but my expectations because this poster oozes creativity and viewers can see this poster and it would spark ideas for their own work for inspiration. I like the clarity of lighti.
Wednesday, 4 May 2011. This is the main character of my story. His name is jerry and he is a giraffe. I used photoshop to create the solid colours and neaten it up. Below are some scenes that I have hand drawn for my final animation design. I wanted to hand draw the scenes because I wanted to use different techniques rather than sticking to once. I feel that it adds a better effect than just solid blocked colours. It gives the images a texture look. Tuesday, 12 April 2011.
Monday, 7 March 2011. So after playing around with the design, and adding to the background of the piece, i decided that this outcome was far more eye catching than the other two. The font decreases in size bringing the attention to the top of the type and leading it down to the bottom. I feel that this piece portrays the message and cleverly incorporates the paper which it is advertising to do so. Sunday, 6 March 2011. So after many more hours rese.
After all the development and experimentation I have done, I have settled on my final animation. I have made the final scene end abruptly to match the end beat of the piece of music, and fitted the scenes around the tempo of the track. I am really happy with how my first animation project has turned out, and look forward to developing my skills further. To Zoom or not to Zoom? Print to Pixel Animation. Wednesday, 4 May 2011.

After the animation sequence was created I had to edit my music to get the 30s I wanted. This was fairly simple to do because I downloaded a free trial of a music editing program. After I had saved this I imported it into my imovie and made sure it lasted the full length of my animation. Making my set and characters. Before I started creating my animation I needed to create a set that was suitable for my idea. I brought multi coloured card sheets which I would use to make everythi.
After messing around endlessly i now feel that the text balances out with the curviness of the paper form so everything flows nicely round the page and you eye are guided from the title to the writing at the bottom by the curvature of the droplet. On photoshop i used the rubber tool on a low opacity to get ride of the colour around the text and neaten it off.
