Thursday, July 5, 2012. We have signed the 3,500 papers required, I have developed carpal tunnel. We own our home! Walk on through to the other side. We continue to enjoy our Avalon. I will be home over the summer to finish unpacking things we put into the closets and under the stairs. A few things have been accomplished here and there, making our home more cozy. Home Goods, Pier One etc are my favorite places! Tagged Ryan Homes Avalon. Bring on the cookouts! Saturday, October 6, 2012. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Well, this last week went by quickly and the Ryan team was busy. Front porch, check! Trees and shrubs, check! Brick work, check! Master bath tile, check! BTW, tell them to not install the soap dish or they might put in over your shower seat! I guess you could call this our back porch, for now. Lots of blue tape, and some new toys.

Sunday, July 5, 2015. Fitted the port inner gunwale after making the aft knees from pitch pine 1 inch thick stock. I used carton to make a simple template for them. To keep the gunwale in its place i used the new Ryobi nailer tool. Claps for the pressure in combination of a nail or two to prevent moving. That nailer saves me a lot of time and rework. Excellent tool advise from JW. Port gunwale glued and tacked.
