Wednesday, 12 August 2015. Our inquiries are now well underway, with many of us having done lots of research. We spent the afternoon doing experiments that relate to our inquiries. We have been learning to think about scientific method, fair testing, predicting, and observing. Our next steps are to explain our findings using research to back up our ideas. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 . We have been having a great time in gymnastics jumping, rolling and balancing. We can use our feet to feel where we are on the beam. We love doing dive rolls over the cylinder. We use our Body Smarts to show pizza hands, chins in and rounded hedgehog backs. We keep our arms straight to do handstands against the wall. Monday, 10 August 2015. We love balancing on the balance beam and have even been working on being a good communicator and working well with a buddy, when using the rocking activity. Sunday, August 9, 2015. In week 3 we continued to meet with our buddies but in a very special way. Four Ruma Ruru children were able to go up on stage! We helped Kakapo to run the School assembly last Friday. We did a really good job! We helped the Kakapo children to show all the children what to do next. We found it quite exciting! Next time another group of children will get a chance to be involved in this activity. We drew a picture of ourselves and could say what we are doing to be a self manager at .
