Sunday, August 9, 2015. In week 3 we continued to meet with our buddies but in a very special way. Four Ruma Ruru children were able to go up on stage! We helped Kakapo to run the School assembly last Friday. We did a really good job! We helped the Kakapo children to show all the children what to do next. We found it quite exciting! Next time another group of children will get a chance to be involved in this activity. We drew a picture of ourselves and could say what we are doing to be a self manager at .
Sunday, 16 August 2015. The senior syndicate have been working on the Waka, Masks, Creation dance and Set design. In Ruma Takahe we have been focusing on the Maori Creation Story. We have been doing art on Tane Mahuta pushing the parents apart. We have worked on blending the colours together. The mode is the number that appears the most. Saturday, 15 August 2015. Ruma Tieke had three new visitors this week. Welcome to Noah R, Max C and Kaeden W. Our class will double in size,. From 3 children to 6! We read stories together. We went to PMP in the hall with Ruma Ruru. Kaeden kept his balance on the moon hopper. Max was using targets and rolling balls. Noah enjoyed trying to keep a balloon in the air without stepping outside the hoola hoop.
