Podróże bez końca .

Zawsze chciałam umieć robić zdjęcia ptakom w locie. Bardzo trudne przedsięwzięcie ale nie odpuszczam. Nad Wisłą jest dużo ptaków zatem . Mam takie wrażenie, że do zdjęć pozowała mi ciągle ta sama mewa . a było ich mnóstwo i każdej chyba robiłam fotki? Niechętnie pozowały nurogęsi . Środa, 28 lutego 2018.

Tuesday, May 6, 2014. When Life Gets In The Way. Wow, as I sit down to write, I realize it has been three months since my last post. I guess that is what happens when life gets in the way. With that said, I will have to continue with the hiatus for a while. After 16 years of living in My Mountain Green. Anyone want to buy a house in beautiful Northern Utah? Where are we going, you ask? Bittersweet day, today. Thanks for visiting My Mountain Green. Tuesday, February 4, 2014.

stopping by woods A diary to capture those moments of stillness and clarity in a busy life here are my snapshots on the road!

I have real concerns for two loved ones whose health looks to be seriously compromised. Another close friend has been in an accident and is off her feet for some weeks. Her husband has to have another round of chemotherapy.

thats just the wild wood

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Let it roll right off your shoulder. The hardest part is over. Let your clarity define you. We will only just remember how it feels. These twists and turns of fate. These small hours still remain. Let your troubles fall behind you. Till you feel it all around you.

Edford Woods - Bluebells galore! Well this is only just over a month late! I need to get back into the blogging groove again! This particular walk in Edford Woods is only available to the public from February to May. So, on the 31st of May I took a last walk around for this year to see what was about. I was expecting the Bluebells to be over largely, but as it has been such an unusual year weatherwise, it turned out that they were in their prime! With an Early Purple Orchid.

Milton Country Park Through the Year

Milton Country Park Through the Year. Landscape photographs by Peter Higdon. Saturday, 14 January 2017. The End of Autumn - 14 December 2016. The colours are autumnal, the bare trees wintry. Late Fall - 22 December 2016. A single green leaf recently fallen from a hazel bush. Contrasts the the dark browns and blacks of the rotting leaves around. December, when most of the photographs in this post were taken, is clearly at the end of autumn, if not actually in winter, by any of these definitions.

Red-footed Falcon in Staffordshire, England. I have just returned from a birding trip to the UK and have begun the task of downloading and editing almost 1,500 pictures. When that is all done I will begin to write my trip report, but in the meantime this species deserves its own coverage. A Red-footed Falcon Falco vespertinus. The bird found the piles of horse manure convenient perches and the manure probably also attracted the insects upon which this species feeds.
