This is a teacher created instructional project that has been published on GeoCities. Students work in groups of 4 to find out information about the sun. The task was clearly outlined.

Tuesday, May 19, 2009. ALEKS is an online learning course for all grade levels and subjects. It is meant to offer tutorial help for students. It is a very professionally developed website that would be ideal for correspondence and home-schooled children and adults. The introduction was age-appropriate and clear. The task was clearly outlined. I was given a chance to practice entering numbers before I began the assessment.

Instructional materials and online resources are provided for Alberta teachers. Resources are also provided to be used with students. It is based on the Alberta Program of Studies and is designed for all teachers K-12. ICT curriculum outcomes are are provided on the 2Learn site.

The background and color scheme interfere with the text. The task of the assignment is not clear. The evaluation is not clearly defined. Long download time for videos and websites.
Sunday, May 24, 2009. This is an instructional website mainly for teachers. com gives teachers access to quality reading stories to use with students in grades 1-6. The stories can be printed and used for group reading. The stories are fun and engaging for students! The pictures are clear and add to the story. Stories are grouped by different levels that match the Four Blocks grouped reading categories.
