Saturday, March 29, 2014. I sure hope we are done with winter now! Here are a few signs of spring in my yard. Monday, March 10, 2014. My bag came through among the first off and I hurried down to where the shuttel bus was waitaing. Everything was fine from then on. I arrived safely in Vero and my family picked me up. This was much better than having my 86 year old brother drive to Orlando to pick me up. No problem, as I had read the books by the time I left and was going to donate them anyway.

Saturday, July 4, 2015. Mystery plant for July 4th- with July 6 update. Happy 4th of July to all USA readers. I need plant identification help today. When our son and his family visited here in Iowa last week, we found a pair of unusual plants in a city park, on opposite ends of a flower garden. Each is a small scale tree, or maybe it would be classified as a tree-like bush.

The top picture shows 6 different blocks that we want to add batting and backing to and then machine quilt them into something , we have not decided yet what to make ,. We used sharpie markers for fabric and used sencils to make them with. She asked me to make a bible cover with it and Camo , I forgot to take a picture of tha,t but I will soon.
Sunday, June 5, 2011. Nine months ago a favorite co-worker announced a baby on the way. what a great opportunity to design a quilt. I hand appliqued the entire quilt and then machine quilted it.
