Monday, January 13, 2014. Today my Momma Bear celebrates her 80th birthday. The photograph above was taken when she was 30, back in 1964. Yesterday we had a celebratory lunch at Cranage Hall for her special day. My sil, Kath arranged it all and did a rather splendid job. Mum had chosen the menu; minestrone soup, a roast dinner and her favourite dessert of all time a knickerbocker glory! Mum loved it all. Mum was in her element, surrounded by all her grandchildren.

Thursday, October 10, 2013. Well we spent a lovely 3 weeks in the UK for a family-not-together holiday. The first week, Catrin was camping with CCIW, we were in Deeside catching up with our church family. Second week Catrin was in London staying with a friend, we were all three at the Aber conference. Need to get out in the gard.
