We were met with hugs and happy faces from the two coordinators for the project, Christie and Grant. Christie and Grant organised our pick up and hotel in Pangkalang Bun. the group meets for the first time.

Agnes water, Noosa and Brisbane. What is there to see or do in Agnes Water? Why then, do people like us and many other backpackers feel compelled to jump off the bus at this particular point? We did learn to surf though. We hired bikes and asked a lovely old lady where we could cycle, but we began to suspect a distaste of the English as we ended up pushing our bikes up a seemingly endless hill.
