Saturday, May 14, 2011. Madeline has been perfecting her jump roping and really taking off with her reading skills. Henry is really getting into superheroes - Spiderman, Ironman, the Hulk. My mom visited us for Easter weekend, which was great to see her.
After a great day spent with family on Thanksgiving my husband played a practical joke on my parents. Our new family tradition with my aunts is making lefsa after our Thanksgiving meal. The kids are now at the age where they want to help and they can. In fact by the end, they needed little assistance. Plus we get the benefit of eating fresh off the grill lefsa, with brown sugar! To be honest some days I feel like a house fell on me.

The Adventures of Clark Kent and Wander Woman on the Appalachian Trail. The Appalachian Trail is a 2185. 9 mile long footpath stretching from Springer Mountain, Georgia to Mount Katahdin, Maine. Every Spring, hikers from all over head to Georgia and start walking north, attempting to hike the whole trail in one season. This is called a thru-hike.
