Saturday, December 18, 2010. I read several books as references. I started with Gorgeously Green. By Sophie Uliano, followed by her excellent Do it Gorgeously. Uliano gives practical suggestions and recipes for making your own beauty products The Green Beauty Guide. By Paula Begoun were also chock full of green beauty information. The Environmental Working Group has a thorough cosmetics database.

Ever since written communication started, there has been a constant evolution in the implements or writing implements used to record words or symbols which make up some form of written text. Of course the very first pens were not pens at all; they were chisels or some type of tool which could beat out the symbol or writing on stone tablets. Who would have ever thought that over time that would be the basis of the ballpoint pens we take for granted today.
