Monday, January 16, 2012. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! It came with a start. We were not even recovered from traveling home from Kirtland yet when it appeared one morning actually the 1st day of January. We miss Kirtland but boy is it nice to be home again. We had unpacked the car by then and moved on to other things. Our kids Joel and Marianne left us and went to Arizona taking our little grand kids with them right after our homecoming thing. How rude! All is good .

Monday, August 27, 2012. A year ago our family lived in Avon, Ohio. A year ago Jake worked for URS in Cleveland. A year ago Josh and Jamesen started kindergarten. A year ago I was in the thick of Relief Society work at church. A year ago we had no idea where our lives were going. I enjoy the ladies I work with a lot. My boss is great! Tuesday, June 26, 2012. A few years ago, just after moving to Toquerville, we heard of some hikes in Zion that required rappelling. We got some ropes and harnesses and went through Spry Canyon. We got online and read about Pine Creek. And I was vowing never to return if I ever got out, then I was going through Heaps again. Two weeks ago we assembled the ultimate canyoneering team and set out for Imlay Canyon in Zion. Matthew, me, Ross, Dad, and Chris at West Rim trailhead.
