Saturday, December 30, 2017. Those close to us know how busy we are from mid November thru Christmas. This year we are spending our down time at Pedder Bay RV Resort and Marina and despite the colder than normal temperatures we paddled for a couple of hours on Wednesday. It certainly felt good to be back in the kayaks even if some of our dormant muscle groups protested from time to time.

A journal of my sea kayak trips. Friday, April 06, 2018. I decided to go for a quick paddle while the power was out and I could not work! I had a fairly relaxed paddle out to the cattle point marker and back. On my way, I checked out the sunken sailboat, my mooring buoy and my C-dory in the yacht club. I saw courting mergansers as well as a bunch of Canada geese who looked like they were about to nest.
Friday, March 2, 2018. What is 70,000 words and 244 pages long? As of today the answer to that is my currently untitled Trip planning book. The bulk of the writing is done, there is a photo shoot in the coming weeks for one of the many sections. And I hope to have it on iTunes and Amazon for Kindle by may. I will unfortunately not be teaching at the Charleston outdoor festival this year.
