Saturday, December 30, 2017. Those close to us know how busy we are from mid November thru Christmas. This year we are spending our down time at Pedder Bay RV Resort and Marina and despite the colder than normal temperatures we paddled for a couple of hours on Wednesday. It certainly felt good to be back in the kayaks even if some of our dormant muscle groups protested from time to time.

Friday, August 19, 2011. After all the family business was done my brother in law and I slipped marriage bonds and got out for a morning paddle yesterday. Gareth is a novice paddler so some concessions in the interest of safety were made. We staid out of the waning tide race. After crossing Baynes Channel and making a quick stop on Chatham we slipped into the hidden lagoon which was almost dry. We arrived during the last hour of the ebb. Wednesday, August 10, 2011.

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Peter, Graeme and I went to Clayoquot Sound for 3 nights. I was happy with how everything worked on board, and the camping was good - nice weather - but the coho fishing was disappointing.
