Since Tom Baker donned an extra-long scarf and took off in the iconic blue box. My brother got me into the show, and being a fan of SF, I jumped in headfirst and never looked back. When the show got cancelled, I hardly mourned it. I had moved on to other pursuits, was addicted to other SF universes. A good mix of new and old.
